Southernwood Homes has been a trusted new custom home builder in Northeast Georgia for more than 20 years, offering full-service design build in a friendly, personal environment. Southernwood homes are known for their thoughtful details, high-end finishes and timeless design style.
The Work
Southernwood Homes is a locally owned new custom home builder with a passion for detailed architecture, impactful design, and personal service. In an effort to better convey the Southernwood brand story to the marketplace, Clementine partnered with the Southernwood team on a new branding initiative to replace the previous stock derived logo and look with an all new custom brand suite, reflecting the company’s creative and design-oriented vision and its authentic connection to each of its clients and projects.
The new brand mark for Southernwood is luxurious and timeless with a creative flair. The blocked emblem evokes home in a visually interesting way with its abstracted form reminiscent of a home’s roofline, a decorative window, or even a room view. Layered on top of the shape, a signature “SW” is rendered as if by an artist’s brush, reflecting the custom architectural and design character of the brand. A clean, sans serif font anchors the remainder of the design with a modern yet timeless feel that is both upscale yet comfortably approachable.
The brand’s previous medium blue color palette is made richer and bolder in the new design for a more elevated and sophisticated finish in two shades of harmonious blue-gray. The result is a brand package that truly reflects the company’s dedication to personal, curated design and service.
